Hamdi has been a full-time Consultant since 2013 and took up his post as a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at Kettering General Hospital (Northamptonshire) in 2017.
He has a special interest in inguinal hernia repair, groin hernias, groin surgery and umbilical hernias, plus gall bladder surgery, abdominal surgery, laparoscopic (key-hole) procedures include gallstones/gall bladder and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair.
Selected Career Highlights
He is a formally trained expert in keyhole hernia surgery and has performed more than 500 hernia procedures which include open, keyhole and local anaesthetic techniques.
His sub-specialist interest is a minimally invasive treatment for bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
