My current practice is general surgery with benign UGI surgery as sub-speciality. I have a special clinical interest in hernia surgery. This includes groin hernias and complex ventral hernias. I perform groin hernias both laparoscopically as well as open surgery. I strive to obtain patient confidence and satisfaction in hernia surgery by discussing the procedure and mesh implants in detail pre-operatively with them, gaining the patient’s confidence. My passion for hernia surgery has resulted in an excellent outcome and a high degree of satisfaction in patients. In view of my special interest in hernia surgery, I conduct courses accredited by the royal college of surgeons in hernia surgery for the Registrars.
