James graduated from The University of Nottingham Medical School in 2009. After completing his junior doctor years he gained additional experience in Urology. Following this he moved to New Zealand where he worked in an urgent care setting. Returning to the UK, James completed his GP training in the South West.

James is an education scholar and an approved educational supervisor for doctors in training. James works as a GP in the Wiltshire area and performs vasectomies for the Independent Health Group. James became a vasectomy surgeon in 2017 and prides himself on achieving high patient satisfaction rates.
