Mr Bowden qualified in Optometry with First Class Honours from Cardiff University in 2017. He then spent 5 years working in Primary Care before transitioning to Secondary Care in 2022, where he specialised in Glaucoma and Cataract services for NHS providers, continuing to further train and develop his skills in these areas. ** Research interests stem from his published work surrounding visual perception and psychophysics. He is also a member of the Wiltshire Local Optical Committee, an NHS non-profit organisation representing GOS contractors and practitioners within Wiltshire.
** He also holds an Independant Prescribing qualification.
