Hammad Zaidi
BSc, MBBS, MRCS, FRCS
Mr. Zaidi qualified in Medicine from King Edward Medical University Lahore in 1993. He completed his specialist training in General Surgery and gained his FCPS from the College of physicians and surgeons in Pakistan in 2001.
Further higher surgical training was completed in various hospitals in the UK and Zaidi passed his FRCS – General Surgery in 2012. Mr. Zaidi has been working as a consultant surgeon in the NHS for the last 10 years.
Selected Career Highlights
He has special interest in day case surgeries, especially inguinal, femoral, incisional, periumbilical, ventral hernias and gall bladder surgery. He has been an examiner and invigilator at GMC for PLAB examination since 2018 and is actively involved in teaching both medical students, junior doctors and allied health professionals.
