Usman Khan

MRCS UK, FCPS PAK, Fellowship in Hernia and Abdominal wall repairs Cleveland Clinic AD

Mr Khan, qualified in medicine from Medical University of Tianjin, China in 2005 and underwent 5 years of Fellowship in surgery in Pakistan. He completed his Fellowship in General Surgery and during training completed his Membership Competencies from Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow, UK (2010). Starting working as a Consultant surgeon in 2014 Usman completed an Advance Fellowship program in Hernia and Abdominal wall repairs in 2018 and also Upper Gastro Intestinal Surgery with Bariatrics in 2019/20 from Cleveland Clinic, Abu Dhabi. Usman is currently working as a Consultant Surgeon at University Hospital Birmingham October 2022 and joined Independent Health Group in 2024.

Selected Career Highlights

Fellowship in Advance hernia repair and bariatric surgery. Awarded twice in a row best Teacher award. Trainer to train young surgeons in performing Hernia procedure.
